A Holden SS Walkinshaw Group A. It's already 25 years old!
Build no. 749 out of 750
As part of Group A regulations, Holden had to produce a car capable of competing competitively 'straight off the showroom floor' so they asked Tom Walkinshaw Racing to build them a special production run of 500 units. However, this was later raised to 750 but the later 250 units ended up selling not as well because the new generation of the Commodore came in.
Random Facts
Nicknamed the "Plastic Pig" for it's bodywork
A made-for-racing five-litre Holden V8 gave it 241 hp but removing some additional restrictor apparently bumps it up by 50-60 hp
Fairly light for a sedan, weighing around 1,250 kg (2,760 lb)
Only came in one colour "Panorama Silver"
A guaranteed hoon machine

That ass is a bit much, but for a Walkinshaw-tuned romper, I'd put up with it.

Correction: Replicas are hoon machines.

I had a look at this a while ago and I really wish it was shorter and a 2-door, because it looks almost as stretched as an aftermarket limo from the side. I'm not a fan of the color either, but I guess no one would complain if you were to put a wrap on it.

Well it is a full sized sedan...and the colour screams late-1980s lol

I'm more of an early 80s two-tone kind of guy, like black + gold and black + red. Silver/gray is bleh.

You mean like this? I kid, I kid
But the only replica hoon I found was this Cobra (Well I only searched the Porsche 356, Ford GT40 and Cobra to be fair)
